Part of the Jazz at LACMA series

In celebration of the exhibition Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear, 1715–2015, Jazz at LACMA presents the jazz collective Sasha’s Bloc, conceived by bassist Alex Gershman. Sasha’s Bloc has featured such guest vocalists as Jane Monheit and Alvin Chea in clubs and concert halls across Southern California. The retro band evokes the big band jazz sound of the 1920s–1940s, and has performed at such leading venues as the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Arts and Catalina Jazz Club.
